Zeigler Herbivore diet is designed as a complete diet for feeding zoo pregastric and postgastric fermenter species such as elephants, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, zebras, deer and antelope. This diet supplies all needed nutrients for maintenance as identified by leading zoo nutritionists. In addition, the formula is standardized to contain fixed quantities of the highest quality raw ingredients. This diet is fed at the National Zoological Parks.

Feeding Suggestions
- Herbivore diet should be fed free choice as the total diet. To supplement bulk; Timothy hay, alfalfa hay, hydronic grass, or a combination may be offered on a daily basis. Feeding requirements of these animals will vary depending on the species, environment, level of activity and stress factors. Fresh water should be available at all times.
